About Robot Observatory
A connected educational reference and industry-intelligence platform for the machines changing the physical world.
What the Observatory does
It connects machines to their builders, enabling technologies, components, applications, industries, research, people, regulation, funding and real attributed news. The goal is not a pile of articles; it is a source-aware map of the field.
Who it is for
Beginners, students, hobbyists, engineers, operators, researchers, policy professionals, journalists, business teams and investors can enter at different depths while reading the same evidence-labeled records.
How claims are handled
Manufacturer statements, government records, scholarly research, filings and independent reporting are classified rather than blended. Missing fields remain explicit, dates describe the underlying record, and every important claim should lead to a named source.
Independence and limitations
The Observatory is research and education, never engineering certification, operational authorization, legal advice, medical advice or investment advice. It does not rank weapon effectiveness, publish tactical guidance or infer undisclosed performance.
Corrections
Send a correction with the affected URL, the specific claim and a primary or authoritative source. Material corrections should update the record, evidence label and review timestamp.
